I'm in the Links mood tonight! There is a great website on letterboxing from British Columbia by Andrew Jaster. Not only is it very professionally done, the content is also great - letterboxing history, stamp carving techniques, clues to his letterboxes and even a "musuem" of his stamp art. You must check this site out.
Also, I found a Dutch Letterboxing site that has some of the best history on pre-historic Dartmoor National Park. Our UK friends will want to take a virtual trip there!

Today I posted a new article on Letteboxing from the Columbus Dispatch. You can find it in the Links section. Thanks to Bookworm, who not only visited this site, but emailed me about the article! As I told her in my response to her email ". . . One thing that strikes be about this hobby is the wonderful people that you meet, in person or via email." Ain't that the truth!!!!

The Connecticut Forest Rangers have begun planting their own letterboxes in an effort to help people discover their parks and the facilities available within those parks during 2003, which is their centennial year! Once you complete 5 of these letterboxes and contact the Forestry Department with the description of your personal letterboxing stamp, they will send you a special Forestry Centennial Patch. How cool is that!
Check out this link for the list of letterboxes in CT parks. Hopefully, this will catch on with other state rangers! Nice having help planting boxes!!
The Hartford Courant ran a story about the CT Forest Centennial today.
