Some Letterboxing Links were added to the page, which include a link to the Letterboxing North America web site, what to pack in your backpack and a Complete List of Hitchhikers including all of those boxers who have moved them and where. It's amazing to see what distance some of these boxes travel! This Hitchhiker site is done by Pete Miner [of Wanda & Pete fame], who should be congratulated for doing a fine job in providing such a great service for us all. Also, I have included a "Box of the Week" link that will highlight a newer letterbox that is unique or special. Since we live in Connecticut, most of the links will be in-state or one of the surrounding ones. This link will be new every Monday. This week's link is the "Peanuts" boxes [10 boxes], located at Huntington State Park in Redding, CT . Check it out! There is a special link to the web page that details the Massachusetts Winter Gathering that will begin at noon on January 18, 2003 at the Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary in Sharon, MA. The Pepe's & Davidow's plan to attend. Don't forget to RSVP to Rustypuff [Kim Calcagno.] This will be our first gathering and the troops are getting excited. The major question is should we begin another logbook for these gatherings or should they follow in chronological order in our current logbook? We'll see who prevails.
Have a Happy and Healthy New Year!
Let's hope 2003 is as active with new boxes as 2002!
